After my wife(and hunting partner)crushed her finger, she felt worthless. I had work to do on our project house( It's a 1929 3 year project to date). The property is just shy of an acre and we have only detected it 5 minutes here or there but nothing thoroughly so far. I told her to just swing the nox and put flags in the targets and I would dig them at the end of the day. The very first target I dug was our very first walker! Second one was the pocket watch! Of course the batting average went down after that but I was so thrilled that whatever I yelled my wife thought I got injured it was so loud. My town of 4,000 has had detectorist in it for years and it's impossible to find big silvers but turns out sometimes you just gotta check your old back yard.
