Three times out with an Apex.....

Got a deal on an Apex Tuesday. Always enjoyed the posts by the late Monte and he was a cheerleader for the Apex.
It is reported to be very good at the beach and I spend 75% of my detecting time in the dry sand of Lake Michigan.

On the way home from the shop I stopped at a tot lot and found several coins. Next day at the beach another handful of change.

And today I went to the park I hunt the most. I often leave empty handed but today managed several quarters and dimes, having notched out everything under 80.

Pretty happy with the machine.

I like the display too. No icons to puzzle over. Making adjustments is very straightforward.

Really good in the saltwater and i've dunk mine countless times but if your nervous you can put tyvek tape over the ports
