Tom may live for this stuff , but in this case he is NOT incorrect ! People have a tendancy to see " Conspiracy " everywhere they turn especially if it happens to support their personal Claim . While the govt. is'nt innocent most of the time it doesnt mean that witches and goblins are contorting the truth everytime we dont get the answers we're hoping for .
There may very well have been a whole pile of the gold stuff there , but good luck trying to prove it .
Please dont get me wrong , Im not trying to rain on anyone's parade , Its very possible that someone has been wronged in this story . Chances are that we will never know the truth ..... Governments have a way of making truths disappear when its convenient .

To which I would answer : No, no one "got wronged" . In this case. No treasure was there, nor "stolen by anyone", at any time. And yes, chances are we *DO* "...know the truth..." in this case . That : There was no treasure past, or present tense. And no, there's no government conspiracy hush job here.

So your post has me a bit confused : At first you seem to adopt the consensus view that FK & gang has a meritless gig going on. But then you turn around , in the next breath, and seem to give merit to FK & gang's narrative ?
