After a short hunt Saturday and striking out, I planned on hunting as long as possible Sunday at some spots I have been wanting to hit for a long time.
So, after two cups of coffee, a red bull and a few vitamin I`s (Ibuprofen) I got to my first spot at seven AM.
The curb strip in front of a very old house, got nothing, plus right across the street there was a homeless encampment on this small section of open land area that I had planned on hunting, I did not hunt it, and quickly moved on to my Second spot.
A curb strip in front of a historic adobe that is fenced off. Got one wheatie, Moved down the curb strip and got another wheatie. Had to leave for food and drink. Went back and hunted a spot a few blocks away in front of another old house and got another weatie, a car, some kind of small plackard that says G and J tire.
No silver
Aaaarrgggh... So by this time its lunch, I grab a bite and am on my way home. I have to pass by the park where last week I got a 61 rosie so i figure I will horse around, again just like last weekend.
After about 20 minutes of nothing I get this loud, high pitch wide signal and I am thinking aluminum can, I pull my shovel out of the dirt and this huge ring rolls off my shovel, I grab it and inspect it, I dont see any markings (probably worn off) but it sure looks like Silver to me and its got the weight.
The ring has hear, see, say no evil with skulls on it, I found the same ring online.

and one Silver ring .8 ounces.
