Since the new forum requires a tremendous amount of work, there should be a single sticky thread for helping the Admins identify issues. This would save time for the Admins, who now have to sift through the other threads regarding issues.

It would also allow the Admins to quickly reference a single thread, as their time allows. Whether it be to address the issue or to notify the members that the feature will not be available at the present time.

I’ll start 😁.

The “paint” function, used to change the color of text, is no longer working when using the “link” function. This makes it difficult to identify a posted hot link within a post. Everyone is used to recognizing hot links by their red text color and normally they are automatically changed to red in color when they are posted with the “link” function. Since that automatic color change never worked, I was coloring the hot links red, using the paint function, so that they could be easily identifiable as “hot” by a member reading the post. The paint function never worked if you changed the URL to TEXT, within the link function, but if you left it as a URL you could color it red. Now, you can’t even colorize the URL. The Bold, Italics, Text Size, etc., all work, so I have resorted to making the URL or TEXT, from the “link” function, bold and I increase the text one size. But, even putting a hot link in bold and increasing the text size doesn’t make it a normally recognizable hot link.

ETA: Should this have been posted in Forum Questions? 🤷🏻‍♂️

ETA2: Thanks for the move. 👍🏼

Pics will not upload for me, whereas before no problem.
Oddly, it looks like I can actually post a pic here, attach files, progress bar then the pic shows even before posting. I tried posting a pic in the thread Advice on creek and lake detecting and it flat out won't do it. Atrach files, progress bar then blank, if I click submit there is no pic.

Look at the file size, how big is it?

I’m not familiar with how forums operate. Is it that it would be too cost prohibitive to increase the maximum attachment size?

It’s hard to find gifs that are under 1.2MB. 😁 I even tried to post a 1.2MB gif today and it wouldn’t post. It was probably slightly over the 1.2 max.

I’ve tried every gif compression website and IOS app, and I haven’t had any success.
