Hi everyone, I was detecting along an old cart path in the woods at my friend’s circa 1750s farm in central MA when I got a 27/28 signal on my Manticore. I figured it was a nickel or trash but out popped this button. It cleaned up incredibly well and if it wasn’t for the low target id I’d swear it’s silver. Perhaps pewter? It’s got a flower engraved on it with a star pattern underneath and it’s octagonal. No markings on the back. Anyone have any thoughts on it or seen something similar?

I believe I just got one. Your post is only other I see on Google reverse search. Did you ever get a solid answer for what it was?
