Silver 2011 D Gettysburg Quarter?

Before using a coin machine to cash in my clad, I reached into the reject tray and pulled out a 2011 D Gettysburg quarter. The rim has no copper band like todays clad. The weight is 5.8 grams; more than a clad quarter, but less than a silver proof. I thought Denver only minted clad and modern silver quarters are proofs out of San Francisco. My local coin shop says it’s silver and these are common, but I can’t seem to find anything on the internet about silver quarters minted out of Denver. Does anyone know anything about this?

I once found a 1977 D half dollar that appeared to be silver. I spent quite a few $$ to send it in for authentication turns out it was only plated.
Last fall I found a 2005 quarter that looks gold I nicked it with my digger and it is only plated

Silver proofs are only made at the San Francisco mint. It also weighs less than a silver proof.

When actively CRHing, KT found several Ken halves that had no Cu showing on the rim…they were all plated! Also, found a couple of Chromium plated ones, and a number of Copper plated ones….seems that guys that work at plating shops get bored and have some fun doing this!
