Question About An American Army Surplus Item...

Bit of a strange/random question, but I figure somebody here may know.

I am trying to find out if a pouch similar to the USMC ACOG Scope pouch was ever available in black and if so, who produced it?

It turns out that if you remove the internal divider, the ACOG scope pouch is absolutely perfect for carrying the 1 pint US Pilot Flask, which is my favourite type of water bottle for detecting.

I have the ACOG pouch in coyote, but could do with second similar pouch in black.

This pouch is particularly suitable as the padding doubles as insulation, but an equivalent unpadded pouch would be fine. Pouch needs to be 7" H x 4" W x 2" Deep. I can get larger black pouches, but none that particular size.

Pete I never took my ACOG off or even wanted to. Someone probably made black ones but not the US military.

Thanks for that...Up to now, it looks like that particular pouch was only issued to the USMC and was only available in Coyote....What annoying is that there are various ammo pouch available but they are just a fraction too small for the US Pilot Flask to fit....
