A great day weatherwise so out to a park for 2 hours that always gives it up. Dug a bunch of clad and a 51 rosie. Then left to do some field hunting with forum member Megan. Tough swinging due to the rye was getting high but managed 2 musket balls and an unusual button. Any help to identify time frame would be appreciated.

Well done on the Rosie. Was there any evidence of a village or homestead on the field location, if so how about a date.

Great hunt, Steve! Congrats on the silver Roosevelt, as well as the nice amount of clad.

Congrats on the silver and clad Steve. Button is cool and a little strange looking. Good luck. Mark

Nice finds! That pewter button is old...old...old! I'd say the button is mid-late 1700's.
