A friend of mine took down a small building in town and it had a wooden floor, I hunted the dirt, and I think I found where a coke machine must have been located. I found a lot of rusted bottle caps and lots of coins. The day after I hunted, they filled in the lot so that was the end of that.

Good job. And yes, I've seen the phenomenon where old retail establishments , that had the old floor model "ice-box" soda machines, would often put a drip grate underneath them. So that drips from the melting ice harmlessly drip through the drip grate, into the underbelly crawl space. And coins can make it through those drip grates. Especially , since, go figure : People are fumbling with their change , standing there getting ready to pump a dime or quarter into the machine.

I posted the wrong picture yesterday, I will try again, it has been a long time since I posted on this forum.
