Old mill i have detected a round on a civil war site.Wish i had the money to buy it and fix it.

That’s really interesting, it would be incredible if carefully restored and turned into a small operating farm that people could visit and enjoy
 
That place is beautiful. I'd love to buy it and restore it. It looks like its frozen in time. Thanks for sharing these pictures.

I remember as a kid when it was in operation. Dad used to get feed there.
 
That would be amazing to own. I lament some lost opportunities and times gone by that I wish I could go back to. My great uncles owned a homestead ranch in NM, there were two old house sites, I spend summers as a kid there helping on the ranch, but never detected until I got older. Sad when I think about it. It is nice to have the memories though but it's bitter sweet.
