Last evening was spent at the Lion's Hear Tavern which was hosting our year end cruise detail party. Most of the "Pier 23 Crew" showed up. A boisterous lot to say the least. Colby (my number#2) was singing away while plucking his guitar while we gouged on some finger food which was mediocre to say the least. After a tad Marie ordered some fish and chips which were absolutely horrible. So bad in fact that I had to gulp the remnants of it with my one beer allotment. One beer you say> Well this bouy was driving and is well aware of the effects it has on driving. After an hour we left ensuring that we arrived home in time to watch game 7 of the World Series. Unfortunately they lost after a banner year. Always next year.

Next morning I was off and limping as the urge to dig overcame my pain. Been a few months since I had ventured out started at a new permission which netted me a 1790 Spanish silver much to my surprise followed by a few buttons and a painted rock telling me "Joy." After 30 minutes there was no joy . I packed up heading towards the nearest Tim's for a cup of mud. Took my time downing the black liquid feeling the coffee warm my innards. Reinvigorated I headed to a playground which gave up a few more coins and a silver quarter which....was laying on the surface near a swing. I was on my game being sharpened by a pencil sharpener and towed away by a derelict tow truck. Oh joy! That was that as my body told enough was enough. Going to pay for this outing but was totally worth it! The fix was in.

, and the old tow truck is pretty cool too. Hope the fish and chips didn't give you any grief after the fact either
