Our house was built in 1924 and i happened to find this my second day with metal detector. But i don't know how to have it looked at to know what it is. I would like to add it iswhite gold or silver, or so it seems, pics look yellow. There was no tarnish on it, and i am guessing its a size 11, nearly the same as my 12 wedding ring 20260112_183928.jpg20260112_184140.jpg

Doesn't look like gold to me (as much as I can tell from the pics). As said above... no hallmarks? Gold would almost assuredly be marked. Still though... you found a ring! That bodes well for you going forward!

Well it may not be gold, and i thought it odd there were no visible hallmarks. It weighs 5 grams, if that matters

Thanks, regardless of what it turns out to be, it's exciting.
I have found some wheat pennies also, the oldest legible has been 1918, but most are severely corroded.

I agree with stetam take it to a jeweler for evaluation. My first notice is the main stone is crimpec in place and raised from ring to let light through the stone. Usually the cheap rings do not take the time to do these things. Good luck with having it checked out.

Nice finds. Any update to it being looked at? With gold prices being what they are, I couldn't imagine not wanting to immediately know if I dug that up.
