New here and new to detecting

Hey there. I found a chunk of encrusted sand or is it cemented. About 15 inches down smaller pieces too. One older type nail I broke up the bigger chunk iron inside I guess and gold looking surface on one piece scraped it shiny could be copper pipe?

I’m in Fort Pierce FL. The Treasure Coast. Originally from CT. I was in college down here about 1982 Mel Fisher was doing his thing which after 16 years and loosing his wife and son 10 yrs earlier they found the Atocha it don’t come easy. I had a Minlab machine some years ago didn’t use it much now have a Nokta Legend about a year now. it’s got a lot of possible settings I probably won’t use but so far it’s working.
