Need help identifying

Someone advised this could be a confederate clipped buckle and I am not sure. It was found where I have found pieces of 8 and tons of mini balls and other civil war things. Let me know what you think please. The other is another normal buckle.

Sounds like a great site, nice dig !! Not the clipped corner variant, construction of it points to early 1800's like the 1808 variant used in the War of 1812, need proper mm measurements to confirm.

It’s 2” 3/4 long by 1.5”
