My best find yet... a vintage diamond ring set on 92.5. One of the smaller diamonds on the left was displaced when I was cleaning it, I'll get it reset. Found with Manticore ATG and the M9. Was about 8" down on an old little league baseball field near the pitchers mound. The woman probably took it off to avoid damaging it, then lost it. Historic Aerials shows the athletic field has been there since the late 1940's, the homes were gradually build around it. I also found $13 is clad quarters in the same field, $5 of which was within 10ft of where I found the ring along the first base line. Today was a good day!

Did you check the diamonds? 99% in silver are not real.
I pulled a nice sized diamond stud in 925 a few days ago. Yes, I'm sure its a lab diamond, but my diamond tester confirmed it. Lab diamonds are getting pretty cheap nowadays, so you might find it more on cheaper material. Of course, it also means diamonds have practically no resale value.

I'd prefer to find a nice gold ring. After I get it fixed I'll probably give this ring to my niece.

Its a nice silver ring, IMO though, based on the pics, I don't think those stones are diamonds..Get yourself a cheap diamond tester, though the cheap testers cant distinguish diamonds from moissanites, they will at least tell you If your in the ballpark... Hope your jeweler has some good news for you when you get it repaired.
