Went to a 1740 stone house permission with my buddies today. It was my first time there, I couldn’t make it last week when they hit it for the first time. My haul was my first 2 cent coin 1864, two Indian heads, two toasted V nickels, and a buffalo. See pictures. I also managed to sever the invisible dog fence wire 😳 but we fixed it.

This yard has been INSANE! Today my buddy found a Connecticut state copper in nice shape and a flying eagle cent. Last week one guy found 3 capped busts in one day! He never found one before. He got a 1829 half dime, a 1825 dime, and a freaking 1818 quarter! All this with the driest ground I’ve ever dug. We are desperate for rain.

The odd denominations are a bucket list of mine. Haven't found one yet. That 2 cent piece is AWESOME! Congrats! (Or is the 2 cent piece an EVEN denomination 🤔)
