Minelab X-Terra Elite Problem

Yesterday, my machine started chattering like crazy, would not stop unless I would shut it off. I would turn it on and it would start back. It stopped when I did a FR on it. That is problem no 1. Problem no 2: While swinging I notice sometimes all of the modes flash on and off at the same time for a split second . Any help would appreciated. Machine is new, only been out 6 times.

If it problems continue I'd send it in for warranty repair. I had to send an Equinox 800 in when it was less than a couple weeks old. I got it back quick and never had another issue. Good Luck!

I just had it happen to my new Xterra Elite. Need to send back.

Thanks for the reply...It proves that some Xterra Elite machines have a problem. I live in Quebec
so I called the company that handles Minelab warranties in Canada. They sent me a form. I will be mailing it back tomorrow.
