KT has not quit trying to purchase silver half dollars from eBay, but with the recent rise of the value of silver, dealers are asking too much….no bargains located in the past few months and even those bid on, going for far above what KT is willing to pay. And no, KT has not sold any of His Royal Hoard. He does not need the money, just letting it lay as a final parting gift for Prince John. KY’s health is reasonable, diabetes well under control, weight under control. Waiting for the weather to get consistently cold enough to start burning some firewood this winter! Ha ha.

KT remains interested in both silver halves and fluorescent minerals, have two specimens ordered presently that should be here by this coming Monday. Wishing everyone a great Holiday Season and happy hunting!

I was buying Morgan or Peace dollars weekly myself. Even after the refineries said they weren't buying junk silver the silver dollars were selling at auction for over 10.00 of melt!!

Silver dollars, real ones, not those Chinese fakes, have always demanded a premium, but now that all silver coins are up in value, the sellers seem to think they are the new gold! KT managed to put together a hoard of 96 of them before the premiums just got too high!

KT has a small horde of Canadian, French, and British silver that He never listed in the Forum, but like you said, it has gone too high presently to worry with!

Well, silver, like gold, prices are cyclical, so KT hopes to live long enough to be able to start buying some small lots again. If so, KT will start posting in here again!
