I think this is brass or copper. It’s bigger than a quarter. It’s heavy and looks like something was smooshed onto the top.

it's copper . lies in the ground for about 150 years. Put it in ordinary food vinegar for a week and you will see exactly this product. Scrub it afterwards with a brush, after the vinegar. It looks like a product in the form of pyramids round, and it was crushed from above.

such items are a sign that there must be coins from 1800. Necessarily. I did not meet places where copper and bronze lay in 1800 and there were no coins. Friend, look for more. Dig there more and all the colored signals without exception. There are coins within a radius of 100 meters.

Trust me I’m not done there and won’t be till I get told I can’t any more.

The other brass piece is a old burner, I’m wondering could the round brass piece come from the same lantern. It looks like it could have possibly been the top part that you could hang it from.

It seams to be part of a locket of some sort. I cleaned it and opened it. Now I’m gonna soak it again and try to clean up the inside to see if I can see writing
