Been having a slow start. Hopefully I'm gonna get on a roll now! Gold 10K chain is 24" long. Used to think these were more girl worn. All the surfers wear these now it appears. Dug the stainless screw the hole before the gold chain. The screw was a 31 on the D2. The chain was a 29. Gold grill and the stainless ring to the left of it were both a 42 on the D2. The stainless gold plated chain at the upper left was another find. After dug it no longer hit at all. Tested it with a Nox and it couldn't hear it either out of the ground.

Gold grill appears to have been held on with some poly grip. Was scraping it out and discovered a hair in it. Maybe Felix will see if these fit? I'm not doing it:laughing:These have been lost a long time. I think this is my seventh gold grill? Only found one Plat so far. Grillz are among my favorite finds.

Incredible hunt. You have been way overdue. The grill sure looks like it would weigh more. Finding gold nowadays seems like a rare occurrence.

Nice hunting Larry.... grill looks like it was buried quite some time...

Awesome finds. Gotta wonder about those who wear the grills. Are their real teeth so bad they have to cover them up???

Very nice. Gold teeth are still on my bucket list
I've seen the same thing a few times, where you can't get a signal once it's out of the hole. My theory is the orientation change causes it.

Nice hunt! One of the benefits of east coast Fl. vs. west coast is the higher surf on the east coast. Knocks the jewelry off of people! We have swimming pool-like conditions most of the summer over here.

I took an heavy 18K grill to the scrapper in Orlando. And he broke it up and threw it in the gold pile box marked as 10K. He said all grillz weren't over 10K. After some arguing I just left with my check and never went there again. Oddly chains are heavier than they look and grillz are lighter than they look. Guessed this one was gonna be 10 grams. But the heavier they are, the easier they get spit out. So they go light.
Nice diamond rope cut chain , hope I find one in fresh drop season , congrats :chaplin:
Good chance. Even the two 24K chains i found were during fresh drop season
You guys kill me...don't stop now.

I can promise I will try!

Pretty sure the shape of it, the big surf several days threw it out of the depths. I gridded this whole area and not a single other target in my grid.

Status thing about success. Usually they don't have a dime in the bank. I did run across a rapper the other day though. Big Plat chain with a huge Plat design hanging off of it. His partner had a grill with a huge gold logging chain that made my neck hurt looking at it. Lol!
VERY nice..........Great hunt!!!!
Thank you sir!

That and the salt in the sand fires it up a bit

When we can get in the water we have to watch the wave sets. Also can't get distracted by someone trying to talk to you. I spend a lot of time helping older people get up when they get steam rolled by the waves. Sadly a lot of the young people leave them floundering around in the water instead of helping.

X2 - They look pretty nasty.

:dingding: Outstanding hunt! Those grills would only fit after the cleaning you gave them.

Nice finds Itsa. So… a white gold grill? Is that what they’re doing these days?

Good stuff Larry, congrats on the nice additions to the pile!
Thanks! Gold luck to you!
Congrats on all the real pieces of treasure!
Thanks LNCB!
Super finds, Congrats. I bet that grill made your machine sing ?
too_
Definitely was solid.

I think it's from leaching in the water. The inside gold is darker. They do have white gold grillz though. And stainless too. Think i still have a plated iron one around here somewhere's. Imagine when your teeth got rust stains:shock::laughing:
