Gerrett Vortex Update

Part of the update is better separation. For my ears and my use, fill-dirt parks, I’d say it’s a great update.
Using zero mode, no discrimination, recovery 3 and two tones. In this setup there is only one tone, and you hear everything.

This may not work for everybody’s ears, but I can easily pick a target out the size of a ring or coin that is buried below a pile of trash. Other detectors with all filters turned off can also hit it, but I’d have a hard time determining the size of the target.

After the update, the Vortex hits the ring from any angle and it’s easy to determine size.

Easy test to duplicate. In the test, kick the pile and try again. Results will vary with detector, settings, and ears.

I did the update yesterday and hit a beach last night and hit a few dimes that were worn down to about 5/16th diameter that were shockingly deep i didn't stay long because of super hard rain but it's definitely way deeper in multi salt
