This one I didn't bother to pick up but it's neat to find old junk just laying around. I was out hiking, actually fairly close to a spot I went detecting in a couple months ago and saw this old thing literally sticking out of the ground. It's nothing spectacular but I just had to photograph it. It's a mission soda can, mid 1950s, flat top/church key style. Possibly a collectors item but I generally don't collect old cans unless they're in good condition. Just a cool little find in the woods!

Nice condition. A little oxalic acid in water bath would make it even nicet!

I would have brought that home and put it in my tool shed with some others similar to that, pretty cool to be walking in the woods and come across a can randomly like that.

I'm holding out for a cone top. I find them here and there but they're always rusty to the core. Eventually....
