The stamp "925 SK9" on your jewelry indicates that the piece is made of Platenaire, a patented premium jewelry alloy.

Stamp Breakdown
  • 925: This is the standard hallmark for Sterling Silver, certifying that the metal consists of 92.5% pure silver.
  • SK9: This is a registered trademark of Allure Gems, LLC. It specifically identifies their proprietary blend known as Platenaire.
What is Platenaire?
Platenaire is a high-quality alloy specifically composed of 92.5% silver and 5% platinum, with the remaining 2.5% made up of other proprietary elements. The inclusion of platinum provides several distinct benefits over traditional sterling silver:
  • Increased Tarnish Resistance: It does not oxidize or discolor as quickly as regular silver.
  • Enhanced Durability: The platinum makes the metal harder, helping the jewelry retain its shape and better secure set stones.
  • Hypoallergenic: The formulation is entirely nickel-free, making it safe for individuals with sensitive skin or metal allergies.
