I updated my Deus 2 to 3.1 this week and I like it. I've been searching fields that produced before (as much as could in a few days) and decided to hit the field that produced the 1825 Half Dollar a couple of months ago. I have been researching that space and I think it was a main road for a while.

I found some trash and a few modern coins, nothing special. I started walking back and forth on what I think was the old road and after the second line, I got a weak low 90's signal. I dug up George 3rd half penny. It's from sometime before 1775. I can read a little bit of "Georgius". And I think the head is facing right. It's pretty toasty. Not the worst I've found, but almost.

It's the same size and shape as one of the other George 3rd coins I found in my neighborhood. I show them together in the last photo I'll post. So I know what is. I just wish it was in better shape.

I guess I'll be going back there again.....

Nice old coin, it would be great to see pictures of the terrain or country side that you're pulling these old coins from!
