Cut muskets ball?

The two in the pictures are for reference all were found in different locations. I am just looking for opinions I think it is but I don’t want to put it in my musket ball jar if it’s a fishing weight or part of one

It looks like a bullet that’s been cut to me. Not sure why they cut it?

Put it in the jar, its either cut or its a half cast, have dug a few from CW camps.

Regarding a half cast. I find half musket balls occasionally but they look like they broke on impact. Is it common for them to break in half on impact?
