Wow! Wow!
This site has been great to me. My new machine has been to. I found lots of old stuff. Two things on my bucket list and one that I didn’t know it existed. Compared to these other finds this hem weight isn’t much to look at but it was on my bucket list. The other find on my list was rev war British, 24th regiment. The one I didn’t know it existed The broken button is colonial Pitt stamp tax act. From 1766. These finds blow my mind!

That site is out of sight ! Man. Way to go Andy, another stellar hunt. Congrats on all the cool finds and bucketlisters. Good luck. Mark

I just found out some things about the broken Pitt button. It sounds like it’s rare. A none broken one sold for $9000.00 not that I want to sell it. I am still amazed at all the old history out there that can be found. This is so cool! I’ve learned so much.

Amazing honey hole! If I found a site like that, I'd dig every signal, even iron. Could be a flintlock plate there, trade axes or Rev War era stirrups. When in doubt, dig it out!

By the size and shape, the folded cone at the top right might be a jingle part of a Native American jingle dress.
That was a interesting thought. When I got home and looked at it again. There’s no hole that I can see. I think it’s a big dandy? That got filed by the plow.
