Went to a permission 5 minutes from home that I’ve been on a lot but nice to hit when I have a few minutes.
Couple days ago I got an 1902 Indian in great shape. Today I got my first quarter older than GeorgeWash…
A 1907 Barber It was on edge and I had a lot of trouble finding it cause the signal was so wonky.
Finally found it in sidewall on edge and put a minor scratch on it Back is in great condition.

Join date of 2012 so that is a long time. I did not find an 1800 silver for many (way too many) years. Found 1700 hundred silvers and 1900 hundred and it was making me crazy. Finally found one on a farm, I think it took me about the same time as you. So good going and many more.

Welcome to the exclusive & elite Barber quarter club. The monthly dues are very reasonable (I accept paypal and venmo). :friends: And best of all : You get to learn the secret handshake ! :cool3:

Great pix by the way !

By the way, I love the way the headdress and Eagle wings extend into the wording around the edge
I wonder if that is unique to this coin or do other denomination coins do that?

Congrats on your first Barber quarter and the beautiful Indian. Lotta detail left on that one. The scratch on the Barber is character. My first Barber quarter, did the same thing, put a big gash across her cheek. As long as its not a key date no worries. Good luck.
