I started having abdominal pain 4 or 5 days ago and it got serious on the lower right side two nights ago. Urgent Care the following morning sent me to the ER. Got admitted in the afternoon. Had my appendix out early this morning.

No work or driving for a week, no objects over 20 pounds for six weeks. I will have a followup appointment in a couple weeks to see how I'm healing and will ask then what the doctor thinks about detecting.

Pain is relatively mild, mainly just soreness. Laparoscopic surgery is the truth.

Y'all post lots of finds so I can live vicariously through you.

Mine burst about 15 years ago. Bad deal...had to open me up, scrub guts and put me back together. Recovery was long. Good on you for taking care of it before it got worse.

Yeah Get well soon. And you can vicariously enjoy md'ing, in the meantime,, by seeing the show & tell finds here. :)

Had mine carved out back in 2007. Got it out just before it burst. About a week or so, then all better and back to normal. Good luck and hope you recover fast!
