I'd like to find a MD buddy in the general area. I'm a relative newbie and still learning my AT Pro. I've been doing some research on early sites in the area and think it would be fun to have a friend to hunt with.

I got lost as heck down there when traveling from Ft. Huachuca Az to my home in Wisconsin, next time I make the trip I'll drop you a message! I remember the town fairly well for how little time I spent there, must have been the name.

Hi, Vikesboy! Yep, give me a heads up when you're heading down. I'm doing some research on the early history of the town and area & made an appointment with a historian at the museum to go through their early map collection. She wasn't too helpful at first, but by the time I finished talking with her, she mentioned that she recently got three Wells Fargo binders on the area that turned up in San Francisco. I'll get copies of as much as I can afford. Now, just gotta get my courage up to pound on some doors and get permission to hunt yards where the early livery stables, etc. were.
