Found it while beach hunting at Fenwick Island ,DE. I think it’s brass .

That’s what we refer to as garbage.

Brass or copper? This is a long shot but maybe a fragment of bullet jacket that tumbled around like beach debris. One pic shows what may be rifling marks.

I know there is some shipwrecks off the coast. Most Anything is possible .
