Found this last night in front of a large group of condos. It was the oddest, but loud bunch of tones on the Legend. Only buried about 3/4" down, and the green corrosion was already evident in the fading light. It makes for nice pictures I guess.

BTW, what's the maximum file size for pictures? I reduced these down to ~ 1KB.

Hi! You need to attach files. Don't put it inside the letter

Congrats it does make for a beautiful picture.

A nice cool shade of green.

John Muir, Scottish American naturalist of great fame.

Muir woods in California and many other things are named after him.

That’s a nice find.

Hey! You know it was better than another pull tab or pointy stick in the eye!
Those are frustrating but they do get your heart rate up when you first lay eyes on them.

I read in the news last week they found an unexploded ordnance near your place when they were working on beach renourishment. That would have a been a fun find!

If you find any type of unexploded ordnance, don't friggin' touch it. Call 911 and request they send their EOD unit and let them handle the boom boom's. AND, ESPECIALLY if that ordance happens to be marked with a WP, or if it says "white phosphorus", then definitely don't touch it.

Get anyone/everyone in the general vicinity to move far away from the ordnance as fast as they can. EOD will handle, they have the suits and equipment to handle nasty chemicals (white phosphorus) that will burn through your unprotected skin so deep & fast, you'll think you're in hell.

Where the hell is the fun in all that!?
Come on man! Live a little!🤣

LOL, I've already had my fun building & handling countless tons of ordnance for over 4 years. The real fun is surviving, living and watching EOD descend on the ordnance and disarming so everyone on the beach will be safe. If ya want to LIVE a little, or a good long time, don't touch unexploded ordnance ESPECIALLY if it's WP. All ordnance I built and handled were in very good to excellent serviceable condition, stored properly, not subject to moisture, mineralization or salt. So, unless I touched something I shouldn't have or didn't hit the slap bar to discharge static electricity, there was little threat of me meeting Saint Peter.

But ordnance buried in sand, subject to saltwater for years & years, no telling what the condition is, so any built-in fail safe's might no longer be fail safe. 💣 But by all means, feel free to pick up any you find, throw them like a football, toss em around for pure enjoyment. You'll live a little, and I mean could be a very little, lol. And if a white cloud forms while you're playing with the pretty boom boom, you'll get to see that pretty white cloud for maybe a second or two before you turn into the Wicked Witch of the West and start melting. While you're melting, I'll find a bear that's hot & panting and I'll squirt it with a hose to cool it off, lol. 🐻
