Hit 3 beaches during our recent storm with Compass. 1st beach was new for him and there must have been 10 guys out when we were done. I noticed guys up high under the cut in blacksand , but they weren't digging. So off I go with my DF getting a few coins and I see this Mega Chain Daddy. Got home and it's holds at 18k , 2.8 grams. Even bragged to a few about it.

It was odd that the DF or TDI would not pick it up. Maybe not picking up each link , idk. Still curious as Im about to toss it in the melt pile , I stick a magnet on it and boom !

Very strange to me as I find very small bits of metal with my machine. So I don't know what it is besides junk. Funny though that all these other Noxers where swinging fast looking at each other rather than looking at the ground. Overall the hunt between us on 3 different beaches was not good at all. Except for this wannabe Chain Daddy entry ! Lol
 
Oh man that looked sooo good. Take it back to the beach throw it out, stand back and watch the games begin.:rofl2:

Woops , Gold plated junk , just like mine a couple years ago , I thought Ca. was the land of the rich , guess with the Silicone Bank plunge , it's been down graded as the rich vacate , move back to Florida Kob , I would like to see you & Felix go head to head :yes::laughing::rofl2: Ps Felix said only the real Gold chains that can handle a boat Anchor are in Florida :hornetsnest::lookclose:Felix Im sure can feal your pain :sarcastic:

oh man, when you sent me that pix, I figured that SHOULD have had enough meat that you'd get it with your machine . So it was surprising when you said that even your pulses weren't picking it up. But now the mystery is solved : You got rooked. Not real gold.
 
That's really a shame. We both knew it was too light to be solid gold but it looked good enough to be "hollow" gold. Now you have me worried about a chain I found last year that I thought was hollow gold. At least you got a little silver. :yes:

That is the part that baffles me. It looks and feels like gold. It tested good on 14k , then 18k , but vanished on 22k. I know these pulses cannot always hit on dainty gold , but I do find tiny studs and earrings. So since it is some kind of metal , why didn't my pulse hit on that , like every other kind of tiny iron trash ? I'm stupefied !

Their using some type of mix with stainless. I got a couple not long ago including an 18K Cartier. They barely stick to a rare earth magnet.

Make a video of you taking your DF to Kohl’s and testing their gold chains!

Speaking of which. I did a video few days ago showing how a REAL gold ring could be masked by a junk chain. And some detectors do have advantage depending on find such masked gold rings.

If you hunt in AM, how is it masked?

Yeah Minelab and Xp selected me to test some of their detectors, etc.
Why?
Yeah think about it.
Oh yeah.
Have I found things that deemed to be looked at doing elevated above ground tests?
You bet.
Things that actual buyers would never ever see,
Why?
Because things been corrected and or adjusted.

Stick to dirt hunting... you know nothing about beach hunting... using wood as sand? Where are the minerals us beach hunters deal with? Is your wood impregnated with salt, magnetite? :roll: Just because a couple companies are letting you test detectors doesn't make you an expert on beach hunting...

I contacted a ML rep and they never asked you to do anything. It's all on your own. Lol....Who would ever think or want to detect anything 2' off the ground besides you ? I'll give you that one. Haha...Obviously your comments about beach guys hunting AM or digging coffee cans all day long shows your ignoramus ways. Guess it's your way of trying to be relevant.
Why you are burning through oxygen that a more productive member of society could be using dumbfounds me.

A friendly tip. Any chain you find on beach. How about see if it sticks to a magnet before doing acid test for being gold.

Your NDAs are nonsense , because they don't exist. In the grand scheme of dirt hunting , I can honestly say I don't know anything compared to some of these wizards that post here. And there are many great dirt hunters. But I think I know more than you , which ain't saying much. Watch your videos ? C'mon. YouTube income falling off ? The only clear evidence we all see is your penchant for brown nosing. Wipe that doodoo off woodcha....
