Of course, my story is similar to yours, Wolfie, but I'll share it anyway.
I wasn't too much more than passingly interested in the hobby of metal detecting until the autumn of 2016.
That's when my two brothers,
Torpedo and
Wolf-Dog, showed me the
NuggetNoggin videos they'd come across. At first, I saw them only as amusing, for I could not understand what was quite so exciting about finding a button in the dirt.

However, the more we watched, the more intrigued we became; and before long, we could not wait until the ground thawed so that we could try out our new hobby! By continuing to watch NuggetNoggin through the winter, I learned much of what I would need to know even before I started detecting, including the fact that not every "beep" meant treasure.
I love the thrill of hearing that solid coin signal on my Ace 250, or of digging a plug, eager to discover what's waiting beneath the ground. My two brothers and I enjoy detecting as a team, and I thank the Lord for the fun times the the three of us have together, swinging our detectors & exploring His creation!
