So far, I've been out about five times. I made a plot in my backyard for learning the sounds on this AT Pro. I still have a lot to learn and experience to gain though.
Here is a picture of everything I've found so far. More trash and newer coins than anything else. ![]() The best find so far has been pretty insignificant. A 1944 nickle in pretty good shape. I'll have to take a picture of it later. Here's my new Garrett AT Pro. ![]() ![]() And here's the hole I had to dig to find that 1944 Nickle. ![]() The read out only goes to a max of 10". That nickle was 14" or so. I wish now I would of put my arm or the detector in the hole for perspective. I am pleasantly surprised with how deep this detector will pick up objects. One of the older bottle caps giving a weakish return and I was hoping it was going to be a silver find since that's the area, 86-88, the AT Pro was indicating. After digging down well over a 16", I found a very rusted bottle cap. LOL! Still need to gain more experience with this AT Pro so I don't spend that kind of time digging up a bottle cap. Luckily, the beach is very easy to dig. __________________ |
