New technology similar to Minelabs. The belltone is also gone. Numeric display and better iron resolution. In standard mode the detectors are similar, but it's the pro mode that has everyone's attention. If you're near the beach, you don't have to worry about dropping the AT Pro in the water. Can also hunt in the rain. No brainer.

I wont be hunting in the water so is the at pro still the better choice? I want depth more than anything.

the 1350 has a sizing feature which can give you a good idea if something is "coin" sized or larger, but i think when it comes to depth the AT pro would go deeper with its DD coil

Depth ain't everything. If pure depth is a sole criteria then go with a PI machine. Good target seperation, to me, means much more then sheer depth and the AT-Pro does that well, especially with the 5x8 coil.

The AT Pro is very hard to beat. Much better detector for the $ than 1350.
