Default My first week of detecting...
I just celebrated my first week of metal detecting. I figured I would post a photo or two of my finds from just this past week. Sorry the photos are not that good.

Its been 5 trips to the same local park doing dirt digging and only 1 trip down to the Delaware shore area. I am going to the beach again tomorrow.

What a great way to start my day... Coffee, sun rise and fresh air...



Nice calm ocean with little to no breeze for my first time out to the sand.. High 50's and sunny...



And my finds for the last week. My first week detecting! Minus a silver class ring that I am trying to locate the owner of.

I tried my luck down at the Indian River Inlet for a few hours. My family has a home in Bethany so I am usually down that way.

They are not kidding about the "friendly" part of this forum. Thank you everyone.

Tomorrow I will try my luck at the beach again. Suppose be very windy so I am hoping it creates rough surf and some goodies at low tide.

Hoping to start my weekend off good. Goin down to hunt Delaware beaches this weekend. Truck is packed. 20 plus mph winds and chilly weather should leave the beach all to myself just about.

Thank you for all the kind comments. I caught the bug hard. Within the next week or two I will be upgrading machines!

A good 1st week..you'll have better and you'll have worse. I see somw wheat's there and where there are wheat, there are Silver..get back to that area and HH
