Default First large cent, presidential token!, buttons

Well today me and my son Noah went to a field where a house once stood. It is just a field now. The house was built in 1847 and was gone in 1891 so that is a huge time span. Sounded like a great place to detect.
Anyway a friend went with us. Well after about 5 minutes i found a large cent. I knew we were in for a good hunt. Cant get a date on the large cent but hey it is a large cent.
After about a half an hour my friend yells i have a large cent to. About the same time my son yells "What the heck is this". He has a coin looking thing in his hand but it is 1 3/8" in diameter. This is huge! Well its a Gen. Winfield Scott for president token. It says THE HERO OF ??????? I may need some help on this one.
Then the buttons start popping up. Could this be a Navy button? Not real sure.

Than Scott token may be an incredibly rare find. He was the Whig Party candidate for president in 1852. The coin commemorates him as "The Hero of Lundy's Lane," a battle in 1814 (War of 1812) in which he distinguished himself. He was later the general in charge of the forced removal of the Cherokee from their lands ... the famed "Trail of Tears."

I would have that looked at by a professional.

Winfield Scott was a very big deal in my opinion and that token probably is too. He was an active duty general longer than any American in history and the Whig party passed on their incumbant president, who was Millard Fillmore, to nominate Scott for president. He went on to lose to Franklin Pierce who ended up being considered one of the worst Presidents in American history. Scott was also the first man to attain rank of Lt. General since George Washington.

That is the first large cent this year. I was extremely lucky last year and found 21. Looks like the token could be the find of the year. I will get it looked at by a pro
