I am in the research stage of MD, haven't bought a machine yet. I live on ten acres of semi-wooded land with a creek, limestone (Missouri is the Cave State) and dense clay soil. In fact, I live in Clay County, named for the soil).
This land has seen everything from ancient native encampments to trading, outlaws such as Jesse James, Civil War battles and cross-border raids, to bottlegging and decades of farming and ranching. So, one question is, do you think the clay soil will be a particular impediment to detecting? |

Welcome from Long Island, New York. I feel for you. Here on most of the Island we only sand. The north shore is rocky and has some hard pan. HH
