Default No Silver today but had some quality time with the little guy

Wife was out at the gym this morning and it is a beautiful day in Norfolk so the son and myself walked to the little tot lot by the house. 4 quarters found in the same hole. Love those, but they ring on the detector as a half. That is the third button I have found but this one is larger than the others. I believe it to be an Army button around WWI/WWII time frame. No silver, but the quality time with my son is priceless. HH everyone.

Heck yeah! Looks like you had a perfect morning. The best hunting partner that you could possibly have found to join you and share your finds with.

He still has a couple years. He always wants to help dig, but then sees some birds or squirrels and takes off running. He loves the Garrett Pro Pointer. He will take it and test everything to see if it is metal. He doesn't last long out there but it is still a great time.

Time well spent with your boy. He'll remember these times. That button is as good as a silver in my book.

That is a neat button but even a Gold rind can not compare with time spent with the kids. Congrats!!!

Mines 15 and we hunt every chance we get. Seldom do we see silver, but we have a great time together nonetheless. Congrats and way to go dad!

Nothing beats dad & son time. The headphones fit perfect!
As far as the button, I don't know the size/timeframe correlation, but that's the same "class A" suit-jacket button design used today.
