New to Metal Detecting, LakeLand Florida.

Hi, My name is Heck and I live in a small town east of Lakeland Florida called Polk City. My fishing buddy introduced Me to MDing and I instantly got hooked. I Always was impressed with MDing. I remembered as a child watching all the old timers MDing around the beaches. So now its My turn to find some treasures of My own)

I recently visited Phil in Tampa, Florida and picked up from Him My first Metal Detector.
I got to stay that visiting Phils store was a Great experience. Thanks Phil for all Your advice and help in picking up a Great Machine.
By the way I went with the Whites V3i and boy do I have a lot to learn. So far I haven't discovered anything worth bragging about but I'm having a blast with the V3i.
Well I look forward to enjoying this forum and being a part of it.
