Default Pinpointers

I am new to metal detecting. I have a Garrett Ace 250 and would like to buy a pinpointer that will work with it. I have a modest budget- what pinpointer offers the best bang for the buck?

I have to agree with the Pro-Pointer. I borrowed a cheaper one until my pro-pointer got here and just WOW. So much better.

Default Pro Pointer

I just posted this on another thread for another member:

Pro Pointer all the way. I have been out 4 times with my first machine, and I can tell you, there are quite a few targets that I would have struggled with, had it not been for the Pro Pointer.

I've been detecting for a couple months and using the Fisher pinpointer and am ditching it soon for a Garrett Propointer I have on order. I wouldn't go with the Fisher pointer because it has to touch the metal to go off. New England detectors has a special on right now Garrett Propointer for $127 and for $10 more get a Lesche and its free shipping. That's where I ordered mine and am waiting impatiently by the mailbox.

The Garrett ProPointer is the other half of your MD that you never knew existed....KT's opinion...would never hunt without it!
