Default Hunt with the rebel*old scabbard & silver

Roger & myself headed down to a few new sites.the 1st two sites were pounded to death.the last one we had some luck at.It was rough swinging as you can tell by all the barberry bushes.I think this site is worse than the site I found my 3rd GW button at.
got a few buttons,a 44 merc and this cool scabbard.any ideas on its age?
was real cold out there at 5am

Nice finds! That's a cool scabbard. I will be watching this one to see how old it is. Congrats on the silver too!

So that's what those thorns are...besides a pain to detect in. Nice Merc and buttons, and that scabbard part is cool as well! I'd say it's turn of the century or older...

Nice hunt Dave. Those prickers are never fun to battle through.....that's why I wear snow pants and just walk right through them. Although I'd rather deal with the prickers than the poison ivy.

Sweet scabbard. I found a piece to one last year, the part that connected to the belt. Great find. HH

Sweet Hunting spot you have there. I have no idea how old that scabbard is. I just realized you live in the stomping grounds of one of my heroes. Larry Benoit. Probably the best deer hunter to ever live. Great place you have over there.
