I am interested in MD. I still don't know what kind I want. I have a budget of less than $400.00 for my first one, If I like it and find stuff, than maybe I will upgrade later. I live in Elko NV. so I know there are lolts of places around the state that probably have never been MD, any suggestions on my first one and are there any clubs in northern nevada that MD as a group?

Beautiful pictures. Those horses look pretty darn healthy... Is that a Chinese coin in the second to last pic.? Those shell casings are awesome, too! I look forward to seeing what else you find there....

Instead of hijackin a thread, make your own and at the least introduce yourself before asking questions. I reckon that'd be the polite thing to do.

Default Nice!

Great pics and some nice stuff. I'm jealous, getting to spend some time out in a beautiful place. I especially like the sunset pic as well
Thanks for sharing.

Nice job, I love using the old topo maps and trying to find places no one has detected before. Looks like a promising spot for you with beautiful scenery to boot. win, win!

I don't think I'd get any detecting done. I'd be too busy taking-in the scenery

Congrats on the finds!

Hijacking a thread? The guy is new and he saw someone who detects near him so he asked a couple of questions. Is there some unwritten rule here that you must introduce yourself and open a new thread before you post.
