I modified a 60" Wheelbarrow Replacement Handle.
Using a Hand Power Planner I rounded the square portion. Sanded it out smooth with 80 and 150 grit sandpaper. Coated it about 8-10 times with marine grade uv ureathane. Then looked down the handles length and found it's smile or frown. Install the handle into the scoop with the smile, or crown down. Look for blemished/discounted handles for modifying. Don't make it perfectly round, flat spots are good grips. Helps control some of that basket twisting on the wrist. Tip: Make two handles at the same time so you got a extra |
