Terry - we hit 28 last night - but it warmed up to 53 this afternoon. We have some below 32 nights here but not many fortunately. I'm sure some people think - 28, just right Steve

Nice finds Steve, I'm new to the hobby and have been hunting around Tucson for the last few months. Lots of clad so far and some low end costume jewelry but nothing significant yet. Loving the hobby though! I will be heading overseas again soon for work on a 90/30 rotation but I'll be out detecting every chance I get until then. Any advice for us new guys in southern Az?

Hi Robert - My advice is to not wait as long as I did to start digging most signals. It took me about 10 years to believe the old guy's advice when I started. Now that I am an old guy that's my advice

If I come upon a hot spot in the future I'll email you and maybe we can get together. Send me your email addy if you want, Steve

Default fantastic

Howdy Steve. Way to go! Nice find! Nice looking gold ring! Yeah getting a bit cool here in phoenix as well. Twice now frost on car. But day time still good in the 60s. Although my night hunting may soon require a flannel shirt. Lol. I enjoy the cooler weather. Used to live in Nh. So this feels like early fall. Lol. Happy hunting amigo nice finds!
