Default Name change...

When I joined the forum last November, I used my moniker (73-77A) from a Pontiac website that I was active in for years, because at the time, I couldn't come up with anything original in relation to detecting. Now...due to the suggestion of more than a few forum members, and my propensity for finding the silver, AND for finding the badge of rank, I am now...Captain Silver...Now that you know this, you can return to your regularly scheduled whatever it was you were doing Happy Hunting!

Kamgort, No...America vs England 1812-1814, though battles were still being fought in 1815...This is a US button. There's a thread in coinshooters and relics...'Button and a Buffalo' with pix of it.

I like the change. May you continue to find so much silver that you get promoted to Admiral Silver!

Congrats on your name change! You wound up in the same situation as me! So many Forum members were on my case and then the little blue one-eyed sea dwelling creature came up with KingTotsalot...!!!!

With all those silvers you have found, it sure fits ya! Besides, I couldn't keep up with all those 7's anywho!

Now when you comment on my threads, I'll know who you are! Thanks for letting us know.

It was in reference to the General Motors A-body platform produced from 1973-1977. Think...Chevy Malibu and Laguna, Olds Cutlass and Cutlass Supreme, Buick Century and Regal. I was into the Pontiac side of things, the '73 GTO, 73-75 Grand Am, 73-77 LeMans, and '77 Can Am. Those were all I drove and messed with for 30 years, must've gone thru hundreds and hundreds of cars, buying, selling, parting, restoring, building....I did it all. Still have a collection of parts and books pertaining to them, but it's a thing of the past now.
