Default Hello from Noobie in NZ

Hello all,
Great forum you have here. Cant believe how many members you have...Almost more than the whole population of New Zealand I would guess.

Have just got back into detecting again after many years without a detector. My first detector many years ago was a Tesoro Bandido. I now have a Minelab Musketeer which is a great machine for the money. Have only been out once since buying it last week but can't wait for my days off to hit the local beaches.
Detecting is not so popular here in New Zealand so I don't expect to have too much competition at the beach. Our history does not go back as far as you guys though so finds more than 150years old would be unheard of I would expect.

Look forward to sharing my finds with you

Steevo

Welcome aboard Steevo,

You live in a lovely country. Ahh to be able to hunt beautiful beaches, rich in
jewelry drops, that haven't been hit hard seventytwo times in the previouos 24 hours.

Hi Steevo and welcome. Can't wait to see the finds you make there on your beaches. With the lack of other detectorists around, you should make a killing. GL&HH
