Default I Dug A RARE Masonic Colonial Relic Yesterday!

I was lucky enought to have a Thanksgiving Relic Hunt yesterday. I went to I site that I found last month here in Kentucky.

I have found a pile of buttons there, including an early Militia, and a Wayne's Legion Button.

Yesterday I popped out a Rare late 17th Century Masonic cuff link, I have only seen one other example, and it was found in the Charleston SC area.

It was more fun than the turkey!!

Enjoy the pics, from the ground up!

Very cool find. I've seen several (including the SC one), and have owned a complete one.

One of my favorite finds is a Masonic ring that dates to the turn of the 19th century (more likely even earlier), and I know who owned this. (initials on the ring match the land owner of my site) He was a Loyalist from New York who in 1776 was listed in two newspapers as having declared his allegiance to George III.

Awesome find. I am incredibly interested in the masonic cufflink. I hate asking, but what would you take for it? PM me if you are at all interested.

Default Thanksgiving Days Total Finds

Sometimes it's quality not quantity!

My total digs from yesterday...it would have been a mediocre day if not for the Masonic piece!

I know it may be taboo but I have to ask. Is there any chance you'd be willing to sell that Wayne's Legion button? I'm pretty serious. I'm from Erie, PA and Wayne's Legion is kind of personal to me. Please PM me.

That's really cool!
Masonic stuff creeps me out for some reason. I wonder what they do behind closed doors.
By the way, George Washington was a Mason and did a weird ceremony on the corner stone of the Capitol Building using wine, oil and corn I think, while wearing his apron.

MT1862 you are the crowned prince of relic hunters!
