My 3rd dig. Old farm in Maryland. Shows I need to learn a lot because I've pulled trash my first 3 digs.

Was a 22 bullet in there, so I guess that's something.

I agree, i dig a ton of trash, i carry a five gallon bucket for trash in my trunk and empty it often! If people tell u they dont dig trash, they are lying!

Haha, I'm glad I'm not the only one. Only had my detector for 48 hours, and I've found like 6lbs of junk metal.... I mean "relics" with character.

I'm trying to keep my patience hehe. Maybe I'll hit a tot lot when I get home, at least get some clad. In the mean time, keep the trash pile pics coming it's making me feel better.

I know this goes without saying, but I REALLY enjoyed hunting with the Pro Pointer.

I save all my lead, copper and brass trash. Get a nice pile of it i will scrap it and make some $$$$$.

my husband told me today, that he is going to save all my junk metal and turn it in to the crusher in a year, he said he will probably make more then me lol

Yep I have a 5 gallon bucket too just for trash. I dumb several pounds into i each time I go hunting.

I think people should post their trash finds more frequently...lol! it can be just as motivational as seeing the good stuff. I only dug about 60 cents today in clad, but I was out for at least 6 hours, and I dug a lot of trash, and I got a little discouraged, but seeing some those trash piles...I feel like I got off easy

Today I was at a new place, but there it is not! Nothing at all.
I hunted 4 Clock
And here's the result.

I'm fortunate to have very clean beaches to hunt so my trash finds are very small.

The down side though is my "good" finds are also very small and to date have been limited to clad coins.

The reason for this is because I hunt the treasure coast in Florida. I would be willing to say it is probably one of the heaviest hunted beaches in country due to it's history. Most of it is also residential beach front homes with just a few public access points so that tends to keep trash to a minimum. I have gone over an hour without a break in threshold before and had to pass over my scoop just to make sure the detector was still working

I could increase my good finds by going to the bigger beaches like Daytona, Cocoa, etc but I like the quiet solitude of the treasure coast and the slim chance at finding Spanish treasure.
